OM MIG / ABOUT ME

Johanna Malm is a theatre maker & actress based in Malmö. She holds a BA in acting from Malmö Theatre Academy and has studied Theatre Studies at Gothenburg University and Applied Theatre Studies at Gießen University.
Her work stems from an ambivalent bond to the theatre and its inherent social and aesthetic regimes. By inviting elements from choreography, pop culture, literature and visual arts the theatre situation is stretched and indulged in. Her work has been shown at venues such as Inkonst, Skogen, Turteatern, KINDL galleri, Folkteatern i Göteborg and Fylkingen.

Recipient of The Swedish Arts Grants Comittees scholarship for artistic work 2021 and 2022.
